Oncology/Seattle Cancer Care Alliance: Comprehensive clinical pharmacy services are provided throughout the two hospitals and in selected clinic areas by clinical pharmacist specialists. Responsibilities include management and optimization of pharmacotherapy, pharmacotherapy education, and developing, implementing, and facilitating adherence to treatment guidelines. Services include therapeutic drug dosing, parenteral therapy management, home parenteral therapy coordination, medication compliance counseling, and discharge prescription teaching. In addition, several UW School of Pharmacy faculty members are affiliated with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) in a patient care and/or research capacity.
