The Medication Cost Management pharmacist works closely with the Director of Pharmacy Services, physicians, and other pharmacy clinicians in developing strategies for the cost-effective use of medications. This pharmacist takes a leadership role in drug cost education, is responsible for coordination of the medication use evaluation program, and provides guidance for other drug use initiatives.
